Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) on April 11th, 2018, in Lima, will line up a number of high-level experts and stakeholders connected to the field of civic and citizenship education (CCE) and bring together senior officials, policymakers, and representatives of academia from the Latin America region.The event is organized by IEA and is supported by the Oficina de Medición de la Calidad de los Aprendizajes, Ministry of Education, Peru.
The event will commence with a brief introduction from Mr Humberto Perez Leon, from UMC and Mr Ralph Carstens, from IEA. The results from the study's Latin American component will be presented by the ICCS international director, Dr Wolfram Schulz from ACER followed by reflections from Dr Santiago Cueto (GRADE). It will proceed with a moderated panel discussion sparking a lively debate together with the NRC's from Peru and other countries in the region.
